We appreciate you selecting our office to serve your orthodontic needs. Our goal is to provide the highest level of orthodontic therapy possible in a caring, friendly environment. We welcome the opportunity to work with you to create a happier face and a healthier smile, one that lasts a lifetime. Office Hours
Our office hours are 8-5 Monday and Thursday, 7-4 on Tuesday, and 9-5 on Wednesday. The office is open and lightly staffed on Fridays, but we do not see patients. The office is closed on weekends and major holidays, as well as at times when Dr. Heiber is attending continuing education events.
Fees and Payment Policy
Fees for orthodontic treatment depend upon the complexity of the problem and the length of time required for correction. Your treatment fee will be determined at the initial examination appointment. In an effort to keep orthodontic fees down while maintaining the highest level of professional care, we have established our financial policy as follows:
- If full payment is made at the onset of treatment, we will offer a fee discount. If you have insurance, we will offer a discount for payment of your portion of the fee that will not be covered by insurance.
- To fit the needs of our patients, a financial arrangement can be made to extend your payments over a period of months following an appropriate down payment.
- For your convenience, we offer an Electronic Bill Payment option as well as Visa and MasterCard services.
- Third party financing is also available through Care Credit or Springstone Patient Financing. These options are helpful when choosing treatment for multiple family members or when families would like to extend payments longer than the course of treatment. You may apply for preauthorizion with Care Credit at www.carecredit.com or through Springstone at www.springstoneplan.com.
Insurance
If you have insurance we will help you to determine the coverage you have available. We ask that you assign your insurance benefit to us. The balance will be arranged for you to pay as listed above.
Professional care is provided to you, our patient, and not to an insurance company. Thus, the insurance company is responsible to the patient and the patient is responsible to the doctor. We will help in every way we can in filing your claim and handling insurance questions from our office on your behalf.
Appointments
Patients are seen by appointment only. Please call in advance so that we may reserve a time for you. We make every effort to be on time for our patients, and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately. If possible please give us 48 hours notice. This courtesy on your part makes it possible for us to give your appointment to another patient.
Emergency Care
We reserve a limited amount of time each day so that emergency patients may be scheduled quickly. If you have a problem requiring emergency treatment, please call us as early in the day as possible.
Should you have an emergency after hours or on the weekends, please call the office to contact the staff member who is on call.
