Ronald Heiber, DDS, MS
Improving my patients’ health and appearance is probably the best job anyone could have and so, I love my work. Even after 35+ years of practicing orthodontics, I enjoy going to the office each day, spending my time with great patients, and being supported by an exceptional staff.
Our young patients are wonderfully unpredictable! You have to be fast just to keep up with them. Watching them grow up into young, attractive, and active adults is like watching my own family grow up.
Education
My education began at Ohio State University in 1965 and I continued at OSU to complete my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1971. Following a two year tour in the Army as a Captain in the Dental Corps, I returned to OSU for my Orthodontic Residency and recieved my Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in 1975. Continuing education is the best way to stay current in the changing field of orthodontics and I often complete 40 to 100 hours of CE each year. In the ever changing field of Orthodontics it is my goal to practice on the cutting edge of technological advancements.
In the Practice
Patients can see we’re no ordinary office the moment they walk in. We were the first office in our area to go chartless and paperless, to totally digitalize our practice, and to incorporate Indirect Bonding to both speed the placing of braces and make it more accurate. We are the leading orthodontic practice in our area providing Invisalign and the only office in our area to provide laser recontouring for improved results at the conclusion of treatment. Advanced education in the placement of Orthodontic Anchors and Orthognathic surgery give 21st century answers to current orthodontic questions about severe malocclusions. In addition, we are an approved office providing orthodontic treatment for BCMH patients as a result of lip and palatal clefts.

Family Life
I grew up in Cleveland, and moved to Columbus in 1965 to attend Ohio State. With my wonderful wife, Suzan, we have five sons, five grandsons, and room for more! When not working, I can be found playing golf and racquetball, exercising, attending sporting events, especially the Buckeyes and Lancaster Gales, and spending time with my family.
